There is no one size fits all beard care routine. However, there are some well-thought-out best practices to serve bearded gentlemen well. Best practices with plenty of room to customize for different beard length, thickness, texture, styles and products used. We are sharing a beard routine that maximizes the benefits of Baronial Beard Co. products for a softer, nourished, healthy and styled beard.
MORNING ROUTINE
1. Wash your beard to gently cleanse , remove unwanted dirt, soften and reset the beard hair for styling. We recommend washing your beard 2-3 times per week, however Baronial Beard Wash is PH optimized for your beard and skin, making it safe and effective to use daily if desired.
2. Pat dry your beard with a towel and comb to remove excess water from beard.
3. Apply Beard Oil to hydrate and condition the beard and skin underneath.
4. Brush your beard with your favourite beard comb.
5. Apply Beard Butter to lock in moisture, soften and nourish your beard. Use Beard Balm instead of butter for additional syling hold.
6. This routine also works well without a shower. Simply start at step 3.
BED TIME ROUTINE
1. Apply Beard Oil to keep your beard and skin hydrated through the night.
2. Brush your beard with your favourite beard comb.
3. Apply Beard Butter to lock in moisture and wake in the morning with a healthy and soft feeling beard.
BEARD STYLING ROUTINE
1. Wash your beard to gently cleanse , remove unwanted dirt, soften and reset the beard hair for styling.
2. Pat dry your beard with a towel and comb to remove excess water from beard.
3. Apply Beard Oil to hydrate and condition the beard.
4. Brush your beard with your favourite beard comb.
5. Using a blow dryer with heat setting and beard brush (rounded brush works best), coax the beard hair into the direction and style that you like. Heat will help form the beard into your preferred style.
6. Using the cold setting on your blow dryer, blow air in the direction and style that you like to set the beard hair in place.
7. Apply an overcoat of beard balm to control flyaway beard hair and help hold your beard style in place.
